Annual Meet Up
The Annual Meet Up is a signature Morton Chamber event held at the beginning in February, designed to bring our business and community leaders together to kick off the year with energy and connection. This gathering celebrates the people, businesses, and volunteers who make Morton such a strong and thriving community. It’s an opportunity to reflect on impact, recognize outstanding leadership through our annual awards, and build momentum for the year ahead. The evening also creates space for meaningful networking, collaboration, and celebration, all while unveiling the highly anticipated Morton Pumpkin Festival theme. The purpose of the Annual Meet Up is simple: to strengthen relationships, honor excellence, and inspire an exciting year for Morton.

The Morton Community Forecast Breakfast is an annual Chamber event that brings the community together for important local updates and meaningful connection. Attendees will hear directly from leadership representing the Village of Morton, Morton Park District, Morton Public Library, Morton School District 709, Morton Police Department, and Morton Fire Department as they share highlights, plans, and priorities for the year ahead.

Project Pumpkin Golf Outing
Join us for a great day of golf, networking, and community at the Morton Chamber Annual Golf Outing! This event brings together local businesses and leaders for a fun, relaxed atmosphere on the course, complete with food and interactive games along the way. It’s one of our favorite ways to connect, build relationships, and support a meaningful cause. Proceeds from the outing benefit the Project Pumpkin/Festival Giveback funds, which help provide access to the Morton Pumpkin Festival for all families and support nonprofit and youth groups who volunteer during the festival.

Hosted by the Morton Chamber of Commerce, the festival highlights local businesses, nonprofits, and volunteers while creating a fun, family-friendly experience for all ages. From live entertainment, carnival rides to the famous pumpkin-themed treats and events, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. The festival not only celebrates Morton’s strong agricultural roots but also serves as a major fundraiser that supports community initiatives throughout the year. It’s a 4-day festival that truly showcases the heart, pride, and spirit of Morton.

These events provide an opportunity for business owners to showcase their space, share their story, and connect with fellow members and community leaders. They also serve as a way for the community to show support and officially welcome businesses to Morton. Open to the public, ribbon cuttings and open houses are a great way to network, learn more about local businesses, and be part of the continued growth and success of our community.

Leadership Morton is a 12-week program created to cultivate future leaders through intentional learning experiences that strengthen skills, expand awareness, and encourage community involvement. Throughout the program, participants gain a deeper understanding of Morton and discover meaningful ways they can contribute and make an impact. Sessions are offered in both the Spring and Fall to provide flexible opportunities to participate.
