Celebrate the Arts in Tazewell County through Fourth Fridays – the Tazewell Art Loop coordinated by the Morton, Pekin and Washington Chambers of Commerce and is exclusively sponsored by Unland Companies. Morton activities are also sponsored in part by the Village of Morton Tourism Grant. The Health Zone is sponsored in part by the Tazewell County Health Foundation.
Between April and August of 2019, the Fourth Fridays: Tazewell Art Loop Registrants are invited to offer fun, dynamic, shop local, art experiences throughout Tazewell County.
From 5:00 - 8:00 pm on the Fourth Friday of every month galleries, businesses and organizations in each community will host artists, stay open late, offer special deals, provide snacks and invite community members and visitors to walk their communities and check out the local art, talents and amenities that make each community great.

an Artisan Market of local makers and artisans
& a Family Zone at Memorial Plaza with activities from the Library, Trinity Church, and other local groups

What happens on Fourth Fridays?
Businesses, Restaurants, Arts Galleries, Makers and More will enjoy center stage from 5:00 – 8:00 on the Fourth Friday of every month. During that time, each will celebrate every interpretation of the arts through locally made goodies, creative activities, artisan markets, visual art displays, specialty food and drink items, music and more. There will be something for the entire community to enjoy each and every Fourth Friday. Participants can also participate in free activities, complimentary exercise classes, kids activities, activated streetscapes, pop up concerts, beverage tastings and more.
Celebrate the Arts and Artisans in Morton on the Fourth Fridays – Tazewell Art Loop! On the Fourth Friday of every month between April and August, you’re invited to have fun, shop local and enjoy a little something for everyone in Morton, IL. From 5:00 – 8:00 pm artists, businesses and organizations will partner to create dynamic shopping and entertainment experiences for all. Participants will enjoy local art, performance demonstrations, live music and the opportunity to shop at local shops and restaurants that are staying open late in celebration of the community, creativity and the arts. What is the Morton Artisan Market?
The Morton Artisan Market is a new feature of #MortonFourthFridays in 2019. Artists are invited to line up and sell their crafts at an artisan market on the corner of Main and Jefferson Streets. Artists that register for the full season will be listed in #MortonFourthFridays communications. Artists are invited to register here. Registrations will be juried and will be notified of their selection to participate by the end of March 2019. Registration charges will be returned if an artist is not selected. When an artist is selected to participate, an artist agreement form will be sent and required for #MortonFourthFridays advertising.
*Local Artist rates apply to artists permanently residing in the Tazewell, Woodford, Peoria, Mason, Logan and McClean County Areas.
*General artist rates apply to any artists permanently residing outside the regions mentioned above.
What is the Tazewell Art Loop Passport?
The Tazewell Art Loop is a guide to the #shoplocal365 shops in Tazewell County that are locally owned and feature local makers in their shops! Participants can navigate the Tazewell Art Loop at their own pace using a Passport sponsored by Unland. Participants that collect a sticker, stamp or other store authorized indication that you visited every stop on the Tazewell Art Loop between April and August will be invited to return their finished booklets to the Chamber of Commerce by Thursday, August 22 to be eligible for a grand prize drawing on August Fourth Friday. The winner will be announced on the Tazewell Art Loop Facebook page in August.

Fourth Fridays kicks off and closes the Tazewell Art Loop featured between April and August of 2019. Fourth Fridays is a monthly, community event featuring stops on the Tazewell Art Loop.
