Morton is a wonderful place to live, do business and raise a family. I was born and raised here in Morton, have lived within walking distance of the grade school, junior high and high school that I attended as a kid. My wife has lived in Morton since third grade and my 4 children were all born and raised in Morton. And, I’ve also worked within walking distance of my home virtually my entire life. The Morton Knights of Columbus Father Raho Council #4194 recently worked with Scott Witzig at the Morton Community Foundation to establish a permanent endowment fund designed to be a permanent source of revenue to Blessed Sacrament School’s Tuition Assistance Fund. The K of C used proceeds from their weekly Bingo Night to start the fund. The money will be invested by the MCF and a portion of the proceeds from the investments will generate grants to Blessed Sacrament School’s tuition assistance fund.
